September 29, 2014 – Radianse Announces an Extended Life Battery Solution for Inmate Tags
Radianse continues to lead the way in both technology innovation and real world understanding of the corrections environment with the announcement today of their new battery solution for active-RFID inmate tags, increasing the battery life from one year to three. This provides a significant savings to the total cost over the life of the tags by up to 66%.
“We worked closely with law enforcement to design an inmate tag that is versatile, durable and waterproof,” said Chris Allen, Director of Sales at Radianse. “Tripling the battery life reduces the long-term system expense, which increases the value that our solution brings. This is just one way we strive to be a valued partner with our clients.”
“We are always looking to enhance our technology,” said Angela Blaisdell, President of Radianse. “The battery life extension is a significant improvement to our existing corrections solutions. Knowing that this technology will assist with the challenges experienced by correctional officers every day gives a greater meaning to what we do.“
